Remembering...

I found a letter that I had written for Thomas after he passed away, and I thought I would post it on here:)

Dear Thomas,
I love you and you loved me; together forever we will be. Though we may not be together in person right now, we are together at heart. For our love stretches beyond the limits, because our love is not from 2 but from 3, Jesus, you and me! I am proud to have called you a friend even though it was only for a short time. I really am proud of you!
You were and always will be an inspiration in my life and your qualities will not soon be forgotten - your love, your dedication, your courage, your faith, your joy and your patience! Your new birth in Christ and baptism were such a joy to witness! Every night I thank God for you and your friendship and I pray that, even though you are no longer here with us, your memory will never fade away. I look forward to the years ahead when I can talk about my friend Thomas, the man who told me to never stop reaching for my dreams and to trust God in every situation. I can’t wait to share the blessing of heaven with you. Someday I will be there with you, praising our Lord and sharing our experiences together.

I still miss him... very much!! And every time I'm in Fergus at Rachel's church and I see Chase it makes me think ok him. Sometimes when I think about him I catch myself smiling:)
